The social program "Pension Men Well-being for Ages 60 to 64" has launched its operating rules with the aim of providing support to adults aged 60 to 64 in Mexico City. Initially focused on individuals aged 63 to 64, it has now been extended to include all within the mentioned age range.
To access the program, several requirements must be met. It is necessary to be a resident of Mexico City, be between 60 and 64 years old at the time of registration, express interest in receiving support, and not be receiving another pension or similar program at the same time.
The documentation required for registration includes an official photo ID, a valid proof of address, a birth certificate (if the date of birth is not on the official ID), CURP (if not visible on the ID), and an application for program enrollment that will be provided by SEBIEN's operational areas soon.
The support from the "Pension Men Well-being 2025" program consists of an economic benefit of up to 18,000 pesos, distributed in six bimonthly payments of 3,000 pesos each throughout the year. The main objective is to improve the quality of life for men aged 60 to 64 in Mexico City.
Enrollment in the program will follow a progressive process, prioritizing men who reside in areas with low or very low social development indices, ensuring that support reaches those who need it most. With the publication of the rules in the Official Gazette, a clear framework is established for the implementation of this anticipated initiative in the Mexican capital.
